This Cookie Policy explains how Clappr LLC ("Clappr," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on Clappr.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Notice, which describes more broadly how we collect, use, and share personal information. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Notice.

1. What Are Cookies?

• Pixels/web beacons: small pieces of code (such as a Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag) embedded in pages or emails that report when content is viewed or an action is taken.

• Local storage (HTML5 storage) and SDKs: browser-based storage used similarly to cookies, including by some analytics and advertising tools.

For simplicity, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this Policy.

4. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are set directly by Clappr and are used, for example, to keep you logged in and remember your cookie preferences. Third-party cookies are set by our vendors and partners — such as Google (Analytics), Meta, and LinkedIn — and are governed by those companies' own privacy and cookie policies in addition to this one. We do not control third-party cookies once they are set and encourage you to review the relevant third party's policy for details on their practices.

5. Why We Use Cookies

Consistent with the purposes described in our Privacy Notice, we use cookies to:

• keep the Site secure and functioning (e.g., maintaining login sessions);

• remember your preferences, including your cookie consent choices;

• understand how visitors use the Site so we can fix problems and improve it;

• measure the performance of our recruiting and marketing campaigns; and

• show Clappr advertising to prior visitors on other sites ("retargeting").

We do not use cookies to sell personal information for money, and cookie data is not shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to analytics, advertising measurement, or operating the Site.

6. Legal Basis and Consent

• European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland: where required by applicable law, we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies (Performance/Analytics, Functional, and Advertising/Targeting categories) through a cookie banner or preference tool. Strictly Necessary cookies do not require consent because the Site cannot function without them. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie preference tool or your browser settings.

• United States: we provide notice of our cookie practices through this Policy and, for California and other applicable state residents, honor opt-out rights for the "sale or sharing" of personal information through cookies used for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Section 7).

• Other jurisdictions: we aim to provide clear notice and reasonable choices regardless of your location, consistent with applicable law.

7. Your Cookie Choices

• Cookie preference tool: if the Site provides a cookie banner or preference center, you can use it to accept or decline non-essential cookie categories at any time.

• Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because this affects all sites you visit (not just Clappr.com), consult your browser's help resources for instructions. Blocking Strictly Necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site (such as login) from working.

• Analytics opt-out: you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics.

• Advertising opt-outs: you can manage ad personalization directly through Meta's ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences) and LinkedIn's advertising settings (linkedin.com/psettings/advertising), or through industry opt-out pages such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's WebChoices tool (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (optout.networkadvertising.org).

• Global Privacy Control (GPC) / Do Not Track: GPC is a browser or extension setting that signals a request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information. Where technically recognized, we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request under applicable state law. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting; because there is no common industry standard for responding to DNT, the Site does not currently change its behavior in response to DNT signals, and we instead rely on the cookie preference tool and opt-out mechanisms described above.

• California and other state privacy rights: see the "Your Privacy Rights" section of our Privacy Notice for how to submit a request regarding the sale or sharing of personal information via cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy
